breathing properly during exercise

As a Trainer I have noticed more often than not, that the majority of my new clients are unaware of how they are breathing while exercising. In fact, most of them are guilty of holding their breath while focusing on the technique of the exercise. improper breathing can cause serious problems such as: depriving the blood and the brain of oxygen, which could cause fainting. Some of the other side effects are frequent yawning and or dizziness. HOW DO YOU GET IT RIGHT? I'm glad you asked..... Remember to "exhale on the effort" this means that whenever the muscle is responding to resistance, whether dumbbells, equipment, or gravity, breathe out during the positive resistance (the difficult part of the repetition.
