Racquet Follow Thru At Net
by Kathy

Q: I know that in most cases you cannot reach over the net to make contact with the ball (unless it backspins or wind carries it over) ...but can your racquet follow through over the net as long as you have made contact on your side of the net and your racquet does not touch the net? And... who's call is that?

A: Yes it is legal for your racquet to cross the plane of the net But you must make contact with the ball on your side of the net. In an unofficiated match it is the team that struck the ball whos call it is to make if they made contact with the ball before crossing to their side of the net
