Q:
In a recent tournament, the final score of the 3.5 men's doubles was:
7-6(3), 4-6,6-4.
What does the number in parenthesis mean?A: It is the tie break score for the tie break in that set, It is an easy way to show both the set score which was 7-6 and than the tie break score of 7-3. The 7 of the set score is the 7 of the tie break winning team's score and the (3) is the tie break loseing team's score.
